Experience with this cycle of JSPF has been very motivating to me. I derived great deal of inspiration from the zeal of the students who have done a great job throughout the process, exploring a lot more than what I had done in my first year. JSPF nudging them to form their opinion about what could be done for society would definitely prove to be a great start for many of them.

The scholarship process is absolutely wonderful!! It provided me with a starting point in my college life and gave me a glimpse of what is required to achieve something significant.

It's not about the scholarship, but the things you do to achieve it. Writing SOPs, finishing MOOCs, participating in events within and outside the college. Whoa! It was an exciting journey as a whole.

About Jitheshraj

Jitheshraj Periasamy was an undergraduate student of Computer Science and Engineering at NIT Trichy. He joined as a freshman in 2013. Smart, sensible and sensitive, Jitheshraj recognised his interests and goals as early as his first year in college. He aspired to become the students’ President and worked for it from day one. He strived to understand the nuances of our college administration, recognised the problems in our campus and improved the conditions in whatever way he could. More importantly, everyone remembers him as that one person who even amidst all the bustle and the pressure of college festivals, would personally make sure that people had their meal for the day. His ardent service to the causes he cared about left an eternal mark in the minds and hearts of everyone who knew him.

This scholarship is a tribute to his qualities that we fondly remember, the qualities we want to instill in every student who steps into NIT Trichy.
